Regional Expansion That Delivered a 300% Sales Increase

International Payments Network, Regional Marketing Role, prior to founding K. Harbour & Co.

The situation

A global payments network needed to grow card usage and brand awareness across Hong Kong, Macau and South Asia — markets with different customers, competitors and retail partners, all needing a coordinated but locally relevant approach.

What I did

Led integrated B2B and B2C marketing across the region, negotiating and managing partnerships with major shopping malls, telecom providers and retail chains. Ran tactical promotions and brand campaigns tailored to each individual market, tracked campaign results and ROI to double down on what worked, and monitored competitor activity to stay ahead of the market.

The result

A 300% increase in sales across the campaign period, alongside expansion into new South Asian markets. The results led to a promotion from Senior Executive to Assistant Manager — recognition for turning a fragmented, multi-market brief into a coordinated regional growth strategy.

A note on this case study: this role and its results predate K. Harbour & Co. Company and client names have been omitted by choice, out of respect for former colleagues and employers who haven't been asked to be part of K. Harbour & Co.'s marketing.
