Helping Leadership Make Better Decisions Through Executive Reporting

Executive Reporting & Decision-Making, Current Role, prior to founding K. Harbour & Co.

The situation

Leadership had plenty of data, but not clarity. Multiple reports circulated, numbers didn’t always agree depending on who had pulled them, and there was no shared view of which metrics actually mattered week to week.

What I did

Designed a KPI framework that prioritised the small number of metrics that genuinely drove decisions, built consistent dashboards on top of now-standardised data, and put a regular reporting rhythm in place so leadership always knew when and where to look.

Outcomes

The result

Leadership decisions moved faster because the conversation shifted from “which number is correct” to “what should we do about it.” This built directly on the standardised data described in a related case study.

A note on this case study: this work reflects ongoing responsibilities in my current role, prior to founding K. Harbour & Co. The organisation remains unnamed, consistent with the approach taken across this website.
